Lovely

I would love to be able to stay in this guest house designed by Portland's very own Allied Works. Unfortunately, I don't know the New York homeowners, so it isn't likely to happen in this lifetime.

LOVE. Do you have a link to it?

I tracked down which site I saw it on. It was a nominee for Wallpaper's 2009 Design Awards. http://www.wallpaper.com/architecture/best-new-private-house/2970

This is what they have to say about the house:

This guesthouse by Portland-based Allied Works is located on a creek edge in New York State, part of the larger Dutchess County Residence. The house, hidden in a mature forest, features floor-to-ceiling glass walls and wooden interiors. A steel frame and four delicate cantilevered volumes enclose the living spaces and bedrooms.
